A 2-year-old girl, Annelise Camp, drowned in a hotel pool on Memorial Day.

    Her parents petitioned a judge to stop brain-death testing at Texas Children's Hospital.

    Johnston Camp told KRIV-TV about Annelise's condition, and Ken Paxton publicly supported the family.
  4. Weeks before her death
    A judge granted a temporary injunction in the Camps' favor.
  5. July
    The Camps posted on GoFundMe that Annelise showed 'encouraging signs' at a Louisiana hospital.
  6. About a week ago
    Annelise was brought back to Texas and treated at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
  7. Monday
    Breathing tubes were removed from Annelise and she died.
