What you're agreeing to
By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
Apprise News is a paid subscription product. We deliver a personalised daily news brief sourced from licensed Associated Press editorial content, narrated by an AI anchor. Specific features evolve — we may add, change, or remove features as the product develops.
Your account
You sign in with an email address. Keep your email account secure; anyone who can read your inbox can sign in to Apprise. You agree to provide accurate information and to not share or transfer your account.
Subscription and billing
- Premium access is $10 USD per month. Stripe processes the payment.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial months.
- If a payment fails we'll attempt to recharge per Stripe's default schedule. After repeated failures the subscription is canceled.
- Refunds for the most recent monthly charge are at our discretion within 14 days of the charge. Email hello@apprise.news to request one.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions are honoured at the prior price through the next renewal.
Content
The editorial content is sourced from Associated Press under a commercial license. AI-generated summaries, briefs, and personalised notes are produced by Apprise. We don't guarantee that any specific article will be available indefinitely.
Your use
You may use Apprise for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Resell, republish, or scrape our content.
- Use the service to train AI models.
- Attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, or authentication.
- Use the service to harass, defame, or harm anyone.
No warranty on factual accuracy
We work hard to surface accurate, well-sourced reporting and display a truth-meter signal on every article. We don't warrant that any specific story or summary is free of errors. Use your own judgement and don't rely on Apprise as your sole source for material decisions (medical, legal, financial, safety).
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination we delete your row and generated briefs within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Apprise's aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you've paid in the prior 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Delaware.
Changes to these terms
We'll post material changes here and notify subscribers in advance of the effective date.
